It is often necessary to add in just a small amount of
our stock hair to create a fuller hairpeice. If your hair is very thick, then more hair is probably njot
needed. If any hair is added, it will blend in and is
hardly detectable. When we
receive your hair, we'll call you to discuss your order and advise you if
more hair is needed.
The end product looks the same; except of course that it's made with YOUR hair.
There are many advantages to making a Hip hat with your hair.
* It's more special.
* The color, texture, and style of the hair is perfect, because it's your hair.
* the finished hairpiece tends to be lighter in weight than Hip Hats made with stock
hair.
* The hair will last many years.
What is the difference in getting a Hip Hat made with "my" hair vs. a Hip Hat made
with "stock" hair?
There is no requirement for length, however a minimum
of 8" is recommend. Shorter
lengths can be used for bangs.
Is there a
minimum length?
All Hip Hat styles made with YOUR hair is $280, plus shipping. (Add $16 to
Underhair WITH BANGS.) Hip Hats made with YOUR own hair is priced differently
than products made with our stock hair.
How much does it cost?
Dear Hip Hat,

a Hip Hat for their cousin who lost her hair during chemo treatments. This has

How long will it take?
Please allow approximately 2-3 weeks to ship your
order. Hip Hats made with
your hair take a little longer to make than Hip Hats made with our stock hair. That's
because your hair is loose, and has to be made into special wefts by hand.
Yes. Oftentimes several people want to help by donating
their hair too. We'll blend it in. All or most of the hair can be used to
create a beautiful hairpiece.

We specialize only in hats with hair. A Hip Hat
With Hair is a great alternative to a full wig. It costs much less than a
custom wig, it can be made with hair from only one donor, and it is more
comfortable because there is no scratchy foundation materials used. Only soft
fabric touches your head!
